Monday morning of November 02, 2011, students of Bui Thi Xuan Highschool in HCMC had a study tour to the Department of Environmental Engineering – International University to learn about the training objectives, labor demand and structure of the environmental engineering program.
The student delegation paid a visit to the Environmental Teaching Lab, listened to the introduction of the EV major and watched the experiments presented by Assoc.Prof. Tran Tien Khoi – Chair of the Department. There has recently seen the high demand of environmental workforce in the context of current shortage of skilled environmental workforce and experts who have qualified enough in environmental solutions, treatment and research as well as the ability to use English communication language, to meet the current demand of hundreds of environmental enterprises, institutions and organizations in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia.
