European Research Days 2021

The event was launched on 1 November by H.E. Igor Driesmans, EU Ambassador to ASEAN and runs until 15 December.

The European Research & Innovation Days ASEAN is the annual flagship event of EURAXESS ASEAN. It reaches out to early-career researchers (Masters and up) across the ASEAN region with the aim of facilitating exchange, mobility and cooperation with Europe.

This opportunity to invite young researchers to participate in the event. All of the sessions are of great interest to young researchers keen to connect with Europe!

The event is highlighted as following:

3 December at 5.00pm (Singapore time). REGISTRATION

  • Discover Europe: a session with Dr Judith Schilldt, Deputy Head Asia Division, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Dr Schildt will introduce “The sponsorship portfolio of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for researchers and leadership personalities”. She will be joined by a number of alumni, including Dr Minh Anh NGUYEN. This session will take place on
  •  7 career development workshops between 6 and 15 December.

 * All workshops are conducted by leading researchers and practitioners across Europe and beyond including our partners at Taylor & Francis. All workshops are free of charge and participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the workshop.

13 December, 4.00pm SGT (GMT+8) – Making an Impact: How to Communicate Your Science Effectively (Dr Sam Illingworth, Edinburgh University, UK) REGISTRATION

14 December, 4.00pm SGT (GMT+8) – Entrepreneurship for Researchers (Dr Marco Masia,  Innovation consultant for SMEs, not-for-profit organizations, and start-up) REGISTRATION

15 December, 6.30pm SGT (GMT+8) – Science Diplomacy (Dr Mostafa Moonir SHAWRA, Chair, Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) REGISTRATION
