Last week, the IU Tour together with lecturers and students from the faculty continued to welcome students from Phan Boi Chau High School (Binh Thuan), Hung Vuong High School and Di An High School (Binh Duong) to the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of International University – Ho Chi Minh City National University
This time, the students will have an overview of the International University – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, two majors of Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering and information about regulations, enrollment methods. The students were also able to explore the university’s facilities, studying environment as a preparation for their future decision of 4-years studying course at IU
The most special part of visiting the laboratory of the Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering was that the students were attended by Dr. Nguyen Thi Thuy (Deputy Dean), Dr. Tran Thanh Tu (Lecturer) and Mr. Tran Le Dang Khoa. (Laboratory Technician) to guide the experiments on two topics: “Process of flocculation – flocculation in the laboratory” and “Application of black soldier flies in the treatment of vegetable and fruit waste”. This is an interesting experience for students to have an in-depth perspective on two fields of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
