On November 12, 2022, the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of International University – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City was honored to welcome grade 10 students from Bau Bang High School to visit the International University as well as the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. This is also an important opportunity for students to have early access to the university environment in general and chemical and environmental engineering in particular.
The students were given the opportunity to visit the environmental laboratory of the Faculty and hear the basic information about the International University and its enrollment project, study orientation and job opportunities of chemical engineering and environmental engineering.
To make the introduction more vivid and intuitive, Dr. Doan Hoai Linh, lecturer of Chemical Engineering Department, let the prospective students of Bau Bang High School observe and perform some experiments on Nanomaterials that he is currently researching at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. The students are also introduced by Dr. Linh in details about the major in materials as well as the importance of this specialty at the present time.
Through the exchange and interaction between students with the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the International University – Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City and a small survey, about 35% of the responses from the students for know they are interested in chemical engineering and environmental engineering. Hopefully, through the meeting, they will have the best insight, vision and preparation for your future.
