The recruitment consulting and vocational education team of International University – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in 2022 had the opportunity to visit Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted on the morning of December 23.
More than 500 students in Grades 11 and 12 of Le Hong Phong were informed by representatives of the Education Department along with lecturers representing Faculties/Departments about the curriculum and teaching quality as well as learn more about the subjects that International University – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City is training.
On the side of the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Assoc. Dr. Huynh Kim Lam – Dean of School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, a former student of Le Hong Phong conveyed as well as answered students’ questions about the two majors that the faculty is training: Environmental Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Through the short discussion between the teacher and students, many “flames of passion” of the young generation were recorded in the two fields of Environment and Chemistry. Career guidance for students is also detailed by Dr. Lam so that students can choose the right career for them.
At the end of the enrollment and career counseling session, International University – VNUHCM in general as well as the Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering in particular are very happy to have brought useful information to the students. Hopefully in the future, they will be able to choose the right career and become the “Talents” of the country.
